* Minimum requirement to attempt the AD ‘B’ Test is to have previously passed the AD ‘A’ Test
* Good communication with the aircraft pilot for proper spotting over an uninhabited area, proper wind drift calculations, as well as checking for the presence of possible clouds, the Freefly™ Instructor releases the space-ball from an altitude of 13,500ft, which travels at 155 mph straight down. The testee is free to choose his/her exit position.
*The testee dives after (not before) the space ball leaves the hand of the instructor and retrieves it.
*The testee passes the spaceball from one hand to the other and then releases it back into space (shows individual upper body control)
*Testee performs a full 360 turn around the vertical axis (y), testee may choose to rotate either to the left or the right.
*The testee passes the spaceball from one hand to the other and then releases it back into space (shows individual upper body control)
*Testee performs a full 360 rotation around the horizontal axis (x). Testee may choose to perform a back or a front flip.
*The testee passes the spaceball from one hand to the other and then releases it back into space (shows individual upper body control)
*Testee performs a full 360 rotation around the side axis (z), testee may choose to perform a left or right weed eater.
*The testee passes the spaceball from one hand to the other and then releases it back into space (shows individual upper body control)
*Testee performs a full 360 turn around the vertical axis (y), testee must perform in the opposite direction of the first turn performed (if first turn was to the right this turn needs to be to the left).
*The testee passes the spaceball from one hand to the other and then releases it back into space (shows individual upper body control)
*Testee performs a full 360 rotation around the horizontal axis (x), testee must perform the loop in the opposite direction of the first loop performed (if first loop was a front loop this one needs to be a back loop).
*The testee passes the spaceball from one hand to the other and then releases it back into space (shows individual upper body control)
*Testee performs a full 360 weedeater/cartwheel around the side axis (z), testee has to perform the weedeater/cartwheel in the opposite direction of the first weedeater performed (if first weedeater was to the right this one needs to be to the left)
*Testee retrieves the space-ball before 6000/5500 ft AGL, puts it in the left hand and pulls between 4000 ft and 3500 ft AGL, to allow extra time in case of emergency.
Freefly™ Instructor is allowed to retrieve the space ball at any time for any safety reason. In this case the test will be considered as incomplete.
